    Hi

I had developed my site on a development server and then moved across to the live server. All the script was in a directory called /wordpress/. As I wanted to get rid of the /wordpress part of the URL so to just have http://www.example.com I moved the index.php file + .htaccess from the wordpress dir to the webroot folder and changed require('./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php');.

The website is fine but when I go to login to the admin side http://www.example.com/wordpress/wp-login.php after entering the details in it redirects to http://www.example.com/wp-admin rather than http://www.example.com/wordpress/wp-admin.

    Any suggestions?

try and rename .htaccess file in root and if you can log in reset your permalinks.

Rapsody, did you ever find a resolution to your issue? I am currently experiencing the same problem.
