Theme My Login
[resolved] 'Login' not changing to 'logout' when user logged in. (22 posts)

    Hi,

    I'm not sure what I've done but for some reason the Login page has stopped changing to 'logout' when a user is logged in. It used to work fine but I can't remember what I did to make it that way. Now it just stays as 'login' even when I'm already signed in.

    Any chance you could point me in the right direction?

    Many thanks
    Lee

    Same here, and I do not know whether I might have done something while working on my theme or the latest update for the plugin might have changed something.

    Glad to know its not just me then...sounds like it could be the plugin update then?

    I made another post regarding this as well. I think if its a fresh install the new version works well but if you're updating it just does not work, this plugin needs an uninstall feature to clean the database.

    Unfortunately even with 6.3.2, I'm still having the same problem.

    Thanks.

    Sorry, not sure what you mean?

    Do you mean how am I displaying the login on the frontend, or what shortcode are we using, or something else?

    Where is "Login" not being changed and how is it being displayed (i.e. wp_nav_menu, the_title, etc).

    I am not longer getting my Login link created in WordPress > Appearance > Menus to change to Logout when signed in either. Even when signed in, it still says Login. I went into the Menus section and none of the pages are there to add any more either, since you moved the pages into TML > Pages. How do we add a Login link into our menu now that will change to logout upon signing in...?

    I can't edit or delete my last post, but, for anyone else who comes along, you can re-add proper links in WordPress > Appearance > Menus by going to Screen Options and enabling the Theme My Login page options. I shouldn't work on anything without eating. :x Thanks for this great plugin!

    In my case, i am using the_title function. In navigation menu it is working fine, it changes to logout. But not in the_title();

    To start a new topic for a particular, plugin go to the plugin page (for this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-my-login/), select the support tab & scroll down. Fill in a topic title, your WP version & give as much info about your problem as possible.
