Login Link /Footer Help

I’m using the Desk Mess Mirrored v1.4.6

How do I place a login link in the footer of the template? It was originally coded so that the Meta was in the sidebar with a lot of things I didn’t want. I also prefer for the login to be in a less obvious position such as the footer of the theme. I was able to remove it from the side but haven’t figured out how to place the login link.

Also, how do I remove the theme’s title from the footer? I didn’t see the theme’s name in the footer file, and while playing around with the stylesheet code, I was able to remove it. BUT, now when I try to edit code, I get the message: ‘The requested theme does not exist.’

Please help.
