I have installed wordpress on my server under site:
    blog.example.com

I then enabled multisite and created a new site, which it added as: news.blog.example.com

I then changed the settings of the site to be just:
    news.example.com

I can login to blog.example.com for both the website dashboard and site network dashboard, however if I try to go to the dashboard of news.example.com I cannot login.

My config DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE value is blog.example.com.

Any help or guidance to get the login to work for news.example.com also, would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

once you create site with news.blog.example.com
then you can not change the url in settings as you multisite use that url in database for that site.

Is there anyway of using blog.example.com and news.example.com with wordpress, with out installing it to example.com then??

Also, the news.example.com site works fine on the users end point (the actual blog) but just not able to login the admin interface.

Seems to me that if your not meant to change those settings, then it should disable the field too??

No - if you make a typo or need to change the name (not the location) you still need to edit it.
