   Hi,

   Recently my login page failed to work, following input of login details, page just returns to blank login, no access to dashboard. tried with different users from different computers and with different browsers (firefox, safari). I had made no alterations to the site, no upgrade, no plugin activity. Please try yourself at http://www.culturazi.com/wp-login.php, login with fluffybeard, password = clever

   I was running wp3.0 at the time, now on 3.0.1

   So far I have read through this page:

   http://codex.wordpress.org/Login_Trouble

   and taken the following actions:

   *disabled plugins (removed from folder on server)
   *uploaded new wp-login file (actually manually updated to v.3.0.1)
   *checked wp-login as suggested, $user_login = $user_data->user_login;
   *Edited the user table with a new password for admin
   *Checked site URL redirecting in wp-options, URL's correct

   Nothing has worked, please help!

   Try:
   -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.

   If you don't have access to your admin area, then access your server via FTP or SFTP.

   Hi,

   Thanks for the suggestion. tried default theme through phpmyadmin, but no result unfortunately

   If it helps, my server's version of mysql is (Client API version) 5.0.45 and php version is 5.2.5
