I just installed the most recent version of WordPress (with Spanish added) to a server, in a folder (not the root). I installed WordPress and everything seemed to be working fine, but I can't log in to the Administrative Features. I get a white screen instead. I already tried renaming my plugins folder but that dind't help, and there's nothing there anyway; this is a new installation. Any ideas?

No errors--just the white screen?
yes. just a white screen. View Source Code shows a complete blank. This is what happens after trying to log in with the right password; the wrong password tells you the standard "wrong password" stuff.
i looked at some advice online, it said to comment out this line:
" auth_redirect(); "
when i comment that out, wp-admin/ just says "not authorized to view this page".
does that help?
Try uploading all files (except your wp-config.php file) from a fresh download of WordPress 2.8.
tried it, still same problem.

Then i reloaded the same in my root & again the same problem. & when i try to retrieve password through email it cant. the error given is 403.
Even tried after disabling firewall but failed.
My DB is My SQL & OS is Vista Home Basic & browser is IE 8
