   I did a manual update to 2.8, ftp'ing all 2.8 files up to the server but keeping all core files.

   When I try to logon: wp-login is blank.

   I have tried the wp-config fixes - removing the last line, upping the memory
   I have renamed the plugins folder
   I have removed plugins that the forums say causes problem

   Nothing works.

   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   what do your error logs say?

   Reinstalled the 2.8 files and it seems to be working.
   Thanks for the help.
   Resolved.
