   I can stay logged in.
   I changed the admin password and updated profile but it won't let me install new themes to my server.
   hostname is correct
   user name is correct
   password is new

   what am i doing wrong?

   is it giving you errors to writing files to your server? how are you installing the theme? through the WP Admin? or via FTP?

   have you tried installing a plugin in similar fashion? are you getting similar errors?

   It may just be a write privilege to the server/database that would need to be updated.
