Hi, I have this plugin running on a website that is also using s2member to protect some other member only pages.

When you are logged in as an s2memberlevel1 and you visit a page containing the [connections] shortcode, it just displays “no results”.

I’ve tried checking all the tick boxes for s2memberlevel1 in the “Roles” settings for connections but it makes no difference.

I’m running the latest version of the plugin and WordPress.

    Please help!

When you entered the entries, did you save them as “Public”?

Yes, they’re all public and there is quite a lot of them, I have a development version of the site set up I can give you access too if you want to investigate (and have the time of course)?

We inherited some of the set up of this particular site and I’ve not used your plugin before – so there may be something a bit more obvious to you going on…

    Cheers 🙂

I’ll take a quick look. Send the login details using the contact form at the bottom of the page at connections-pro.com

Hi Shazahm, I think I’ve sorted it, I’ve checked ALL the boxes in the roles section for s2memberlevel1, they dont have admin access anyway so even if they go to /wp-admim they can’t edit any connections.

Not sure why just checking all the “view” permissions unde “Roles” didnt work…

On the Connections ; Roles admin page there is a reset option, did you try resetting all the capabilities and then assigning them?
