log into dashboard, got a blank screen, can't update

    Hi.

    I can’t access anything once I’m logged in my dashboard.

    All menus are blank, I can’t even figure out what WP version I have, or get it upgraded.

    I had the same issue with my second website, but that one I was able to access the Updates menu and get the newest WP.

    How do I update wordpress when I log into my website and it’s a blank screen on all pages?

    the site is still active and working although I can’t see anything on the dashboard.

    Try manually resetting your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
