   Hello! Odd question here, but I cannot seem to get my username and password to log me into the dashboard for my site, maidspotless.net. When I try logging in with my email address to recover a password, it says that the email address is not recognized (or not a user - something of that nature).

   Today I had hostgator transfer files to the new site and now cannot log in to the dashboard. Not sure if this is a correlated issue, but its the only change that has been made recently.

   How can I recover my username (and then password) so that I might be able to log into my site?

   Thank you. I have looked through the list and the only feasible option might be the FTP thing, but I have no idea where to find that information.

   If you are the owner of the site, your hosting company should be able to help you. If you don't know who your host is, do a whois lookup.
