As soon as I activate the plugin it throws me into a redirect loop where i can never get past the login screen (regardless of whether I try to come in under HTTP or HTTPS). Completely unusable. Had to delete the plugin files to get back into admin.

Have you tried using just FORCE_SSL_ADMIN in wp-config.php without the plugin to ensure that your SSL is set up correctly and that WordPress plays nice with it without the plugin?
Thanks for the response Mvied -- somehow I got it working again after uninstalling and re-installing a few times. Unfortunately I can't say exactly what solved the problem for posterity's sake, but I'm back up and running!
I fixed the issue in 3.2.3. I had other users that reported the same issue.
I downloaded your plugin and I am having trouble. When I filter my login page in https I can't access my wp-admin page anymore. When I remove the login page filter I am able to access my wp-admin page only in http. Can you please explain how I will be able to access my wp-admin from login page that is https filtered?
Thank you.
