   is there an option to see where are you in the site?
   foe example- if you are in a post that published on test category so this will show on the top of the post:
   home - test - post title

   What you are looking for are called breadcrumbs. There are a number of plugins for that.

   one can be found here; http://sw-guide.de/wordpress/breadcrumb-nav-xt/

   I don't use them so can't speak to how well it works but that is what you are looking for.
