I'm trying to add code from Google's webmaster tools and an instructed to "Copy the meta tag below, and paste it into your site's home page. It should go in the <head> section, before the first <body> section." But I cant find where the code for the home page is located.

Thank you for your quick response. I really appreciate it! I should have been more clear. I'm not trying to add Analytics code. I'm trying to add the validation code that Google requests so that they can confirm that I own the website. This will speed up their process of indexing the website.

Try header.php in your theme root.

Thanks for the feedback. I went to the dashboard as suggested in the link, but dont see any of the edit links mentioned there. And I don't know where to find the header php under Themes. I'm using the "Responsive" template by ThemeID, if that is helpful to know.

I'm sorry kubegusa. I dont know how to do that. Do you think I should just try to find support from the ThemeID people?

Responsive's dedicated forums are top-notch so you should definitely post there!
