   Hi!

   Version: WP 2.9.2 with K2 child theme.

   I am using the 'official' French .mo/.po files of WP, plugins and themes and modifying a few strips which are either not translated or for which the translation is not satisfying.

   One untranslated strip is the search text in the search field ("Type and Wait to Search") and I can't find it anywhere, it is neither in the WP .po nor in the K2 .po.
   Does anyone know where I can find it?

   Not sure if you're still looking for this, but I found where that form value is found:

   K2/app/classes/k2.php

   You should find that text in the K2.php file.
