When local URL shortening is enabled, a random 2-character string is created as the ‘short URL’. If any URL ends with /xy, that page is redirected to the individual post in question.

One such code that was generated on a client’s site happened to be ’12’. Thus the 12th page of the blog, /page/12 was being redirected to the individual post. Took a long time for me to track this down!

    This really shouldn’t happen.
