   I am going through the install locally on a Mac and on step 4 I just get a text file called j6T0zKa4.dms-1.part or wordpress-1. That has this when opened... 4

   Hi thanks for replying but this is the page I went through, could it be the fact my phpMyAdmin page says 'No tables found in database'?

   You're downloading WordPress at step 4 - So you went to the download page and downloaded http://wordpress.org/latest.zip ?
