Local install using MAMP

    MAMP forums seem a bit dead so will ask here:

    I am trying to build my site locally on a mac – all was running fine, then suddenly Mysql refuses to fire up. I am pretty stuck as new to the whole thing and not a massive tech head.

    Can someone give a pointer as to what to do for this?
