mom7toHi. I wanted to work with 2.8 on my local host, so I installed WP 2.8 through WAMP2 a few minutes ago. I actually got it working, but when I went into the dashboard there were like 50 incoming links, mostly foreign. Should I be concerned - this is a local host install, not a server install.
Here's a few of the links that appeared at the install.
admin linked here saying, "def feed = { render(feedType:"rss", feedVersion:"2 ..."
EastFuture linked here saying, "string link = "http://localhost:1700/ImageAdminPor ..."
Denis linked here saying, "... care vei vedea cum stai cu securitatea serveru ..."
Should I uninstall this on the local host and forget about playing with it separately, or is this not a security risk at all?
