Local (DropBox) of plugin's in SYNC with Repository (1 post)

    Hi there,
I'm not sure if I'm even posting this question in the right place, so apologies if this isn't the correct forum - but this is what I'm trying to achieve.
I store all the plugin's I use (on client sites) in a folder on my DropBox account.
I generally upload what's required to any new sites via FTP (at least initally) from this folder.
So, I'm not sure if this is possible - or how to go about it, but I'd like some way to keep those plugin's in my DropBox folder up-to-date - automatically.
I have to manually download & overwite the plugin's in that folder when an update becomes available (from the repository) - I'd like to avoid this (somehow).
I am just starting to look into GIT, so perhaps there's some way to do what I want via this method?
I am totally open to another approach, just so long as I can (if possible) keep a local repo of the plugin's I use - up-to-date automatically.
I'd perfer this to be in the Cloud somewhere (DropBox) just so I'm able to access these anywhere, anytime (if I need to).
I'm sure you know what I'm looking for, & you'll probably have a much better way of achiving this :)
    Thanks,
    Jas
