For some reason the functions.js file isn’t being enqueued. Try temporarily switching one of the default themes; that will probably confirm that there’s something wrong with your theme.

Is there a way I can get it to load? I cannot discontinue using this theme.

You don’t need to stop using the theme, but you need to switch to another theme for ~60 seconds in order to test if the theme is the problem.

If the theme is the problem, you need to contact the theme’s author and ask them to fix it. My first guess would be that they’re not calling wp_footer() in footer.php.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

I changed the theme temporarily to the 2014 WordPress theme and made the About Us page the homepage and added the map there.

I am still getting the same error.

The functions.js file still isn’t being enqueued, so it’s probably a plugin. Try following these steps:

    1) Leave the 2014 theme enabled
    2) Disable all the plugins
    3) Check to see if it works. It probably will.
    4) Turn the plugins back on one-by-one, and after each one check if it works
    5) When you find the one that causes it to stop working, let me know which one it is
    6) Switch back to your regular theme and enable all the other plugins
    7) It should be working at this point, as long as the plugin from step #5 is still disabled.

Hi, I did as you told me to and you know what, you were right. It was this plugin – “WP Sponsor Flip Wall” that was causing the problem.

The map now works fine and I switched back to the old theme – http://www.nkgc.co.in.

I’ve disabled that plugin now. Will try to find an alternative plugin to use. I wonder why it was getting in the way though.

Thank you so much for all your help.
I’m glad it has started working again 🙂 I like its features and how easy it is to use. Thanks.
