@callummccormick – I’m not certain I understand what you are looking for? Are you wanting to display a single image (from the gallery?) that when clicked opens the gallery up (for example, showing all the gallery thumbnails) and then click on one of those images to open the Lightbox Effect you have selected?
If that is the case, it sounds much like the premise behind Albums which are designed to hold sub-albums and galleries and essentially display a “preview” image that is clickable to open the gallery (or sub-album).

Hello Cais, thank you very much for responding.
I suppose all I want is a single thumb displayed and when user clicks it, the lightbox springs into action and they can flick through left/right through the album without loading another page full of thumbnails.
However, are you suggesting I investigate albums further? Never done that! 🙂
Callum.

Hi Cais,
It’s unfortunate that the script I’m running to produce “tabs” on the page means that the darned album won’t work, but I see that it would have been ideal.
For those people that view this thread historically, everything will have changed on the link below, however right now, here it is:

Ignoring the formatting errors (which I won’t fix right now), the album is hidden by the tabs script. Grrr.
Back to square one I think. Looking for a solution that uses the first thumbnail to pops the lightbox up.
Any ideas..?
Callum.
OK, the advice regarding Albums worked. Thanks.
I have a minor styling issue (never used Albums before!) and I’ll raise a separate ticket.
Thanks again, Callum.
