   I have cleaned the database to kill a bug, but now the media library is empty. Is there a way to list the media content already uploaded and register them back to the sql db?

   Try applying the Hotfix plug-in and see if that fixes it:

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/hotfix/

   There's a known bug in 3.1.3 that shows the Media Library as being empty even though it isn't.

   Ty zoonini, but this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/import-legacy-media/ resolved my problems, it loaded files into media library
