    Hello, this is the first time i seek support here as i have always find answers reading forums and topics over internet.

    Im developing a custom template, wich includes some extra functionality, like creating custom post types, and managing some configurations.

    I need to add a template page inside a directory within my theme, in order to maintain the directory structure im using.

    The structure is like:

    <themename>/
      styles.css
      functions.php
      ...etc
      JR/
        Public/
          tmpl_customtemplate.php

    I usually create page templates in my themeĀ“s root directory, adding the comment code:

    /*
     Template Name: Custom template
    */

    But now i need to add this template inside the structure above, i added the same comment code inside the file tmpl_customtemplate.php but the file is not detected when creating a new page.

    My final question is, is it possible to add page templates inside nested directories?

    I hope someone can give me a hand with this as it is not a vital thing, i would like to maintain the directory structure.

    Thanks
