• I want to have my WordPress posts published to LiveJournal. Before you all redirect me to the LiveJournal Auto-Update plugin, let me describe how I want to work, to see if such a thing exists. If not, I might just write my own.

In the admin section of WordPress, at the “new post” page, there are four buttons: Save as Draft, Save as Private, Publish and Advanced Editing. When you’re in “edit” mode, the buttons change “Save” and “Save and Continue Editing”. I’d like to place a button that says “Save to LiveJournal”.

The problem with the auto-update script is that I publish (sometimes) before all corrections are made This creates a hastle because I then have to go to LiveJournal to make the same corrections. Editing the post on both would be very dfficult if not impossible which is why I think a one time button (or checkbox and button) on the “edit” page, not the “new post” page would be extremely useful.
