Live Writer and broken/duplicate images

    Gentlemen, it seems the old issue already mentioned in the forum is still present with 2.1 (where pasted images end up either broken or (more frequently) repeated, since they don’t get renamed (image.png)) I (unfortunately) started my blog with this plug-in and I can’t use Live Writer anymore. Any change it will work with Live Writer 2012?

    People, I don’t think I’m the only one using Live Writer. If yes, could anybody suggest something else to use, other than Word 2013? Or alternatively, does anybody know of a tutorial on how to migrate from Azure storage to file system storage without breaking it?

    Thank you for reporting this bug.

    Today we released Windows Azure Storage for WordPress v2.2. We fixed the duplicate blob name issue with Live-writer in this version.

    Please share your feedback on the plugin support forum.

    Hi Bibin, that’s great. It took me a few days to be able to test and it worked like a charm. Thank you for fixing this.
