Little confused about use of the word "Header"

I want to change the height of the area where my logo is. I normally would think that area would be called “Header”, but of course the Yoko theme calls the area below it where a picture would go the “Header”.

So I’ve got two questions:
1) What is that area called in Yoko?
2) How can I change the height of it?
