   I'm having trouble getting the listing pages to appear in Facebook and Twitter posts. It appears they're not recognizing the full URL. Anyone else with this issue? Any clues?

   Can you be more specific? Are you using the new Facebook field or are you using a Facebook sharing plugin with BD? If it's a plugin, which one?

   What do the URLs look like? (both versions)

   When I paste a URL for a listing into the Facebook Status box, it does not read the link properly. You can use this link as an example

   Also, when I used "Sociable" plugin for social media sharing, the same thing happened, so I had to disable it, till I resolve this.

   Any insight on this? I'm getting irritated comments from merchants, and they can't Facebook their listings. HELP!!!

   I don't know exactly when I will get a response from my developer...it may be a bit. 24 hours isn't a lot of time. :)

    So when I tested this on my own Facebook page, I see that the URL is "cut off" because there's not enough room to display it, but the URL works just fine. This is pasting the link above into the Facebook status box.

    When it finishes posting, I see the entire URL and I can click through to it. I must be missing something here. Is that what you described above?

    Interesting. It's behaving differently now. Well, that's good. Maybe Facebook changed something, for the better this time....lol.

    I'm going to turn the Sociable plug in on and see if that's working now. I'll reply to the thread.

    No luck with Sociable. It does not recognize the complete URL.

    So what exactly does Sociable do with it? If they can't handle the URL, I would probably guess this is a problem with their plugin. Can you try another one to see if that is indeed the case?

    The only issue, when you "like" something, or post it to a social media site, rather than pick up the title tag, it uses a generic "Directory" tag.

    Hmmm. We will take a deeper look at why Sociable isn't handling this correctly, but I'm glad that you have a workaround in the meantime.
