Listing posts based on media-tags

    Using the media-tags plugin, does anyone have any suggestions for listing all posts which have images that have been tagged with a specific mediatag? I’m trying to make it so that the mediatag archive pages don’t show individual images/attachments, but instead list their parent posts.

    The plugin’s author made it sound possible but potentially complicated, since developing any shortcodes for such a task is outside of his vision for the plugin (understandable). As I try over and over to figure this out, though, I can’t imagine I’m the only one who’s ever wanted to do this before.

    I’ve been trying at it for a while with custom queries, but am admittedly just a novice with more advanced query writing and such. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    I am very interested in the same.

    If you have made any headway on this, I would appreciate some guidance. I am going to start picking this thing apart to achieve it. Perhaps we can coordinate efforts.

    I must admit, as well, that my experience is limited, though I am determined.
