   Hi,

   I'm trying to set my wordpress front page (and only on the front page) to display post titles in a format so that only the first most recent 6 posts are shown. I know that in the options you can set this paramater but I believe this also affects category/monthly archives which I do not desire. I only want to do this on the front page.

   Is there a parameter I can pass that will do the job?

   1. For different number of posts in different views - you can use this plugin:

   2. However, this will not solve the issue of displaying only titles on the homepage - if I understood correctly your request.
