Listing Page Categories in Search Results (3 posts)

    Greetings,

I am confused about page categories appearing in search results... When I type in project name at http://www.rhodelander.com, all results appear and link to different pages correctly. But, I'm wondering if there is a way to change the category listed with each search result to the same hierarchy label in which it's corresponding page is set to.

For example, I type "Town Square Gallery" into the search box and two results are listed. One result links to the Town Square Gallery logo; the other links to the Town Square Gallery web design. However both links are categorized as "Projects". Is there a way to change the category for the TSG logo to "Identity" and the TSG web design to "Digital"?

I understand Posts will show their appropriate category in search results, but the entire project detail page disappeared the last time I tried changing each page's content to a post.

Any input to solve this issue or provide a workaround is appreciated.

The categories will be listed using the names and structure that you gave them.

Is there a way to categorize a page?

I already have one page's attributes set to show under the "identity" hierarchy; the second page's attributes are set to show under the "digital" hierarchy, but neither show their respective category in the search results. It still says both are categorized as "Projects".

Or does categorization only relate to posts? If so, how do I keep the project detail page from disappearing?
