[resolved] Listing of cached files in W3 Total Cache? (4 posts)

Seeing definite improvements using W3 Total Cache instead of WP Super Cache on http://www.sticadhesive.com/

    I have two related questions.

    1) Is it possible to see the cache for W3 Total Cache?

Looking for a list of currently cached files with their expiration times, similar to what's available in WP Super Cache. Didn't find it from the admirably comprehensive plugin admin pages within WP, and I even skimmed the entire FAQ (very good one).

    2) Possible to re-generate the cache automatically on a set interval?

Not all pages on our site have high traffic. I've set the "Maximum lifetime of cache objects" to a large number, equivalent to a full day, but would like to go one step further and automatically re-generate the cached files when they expire.

Not 100% sure this is necessary, but when there are few visitors to certain pages, I don't want to penalize them for generating the page which isn't in the cache due to expiration.

As the FAQ mentions statistics etc is coming by the final release.

Database caching is your key to reduce execution time for non-cached pages. Anyway more caching methodologies for pages is coming in upcoming releases.

Thanks, Frederick. Will take a closer look at database caching. Wanted to step slowly into each level. Admire the thoroughness of the control AND documentation.
