I am trying to create a page that has a list of upcoming events on it. I have used the shortcode
    [events_list scope=’future’ limit=10 pagination=1 ][/events_list]
Which I thought would do the job…

However, the ‘future’ in this shortcode refers to the future of the day the page was posted, and not to the actual future! Thus the page is not updating, and is stuck showing the events from boxing day onwards!

Is there a way to make the shortcode recognise the actual future, rather than the future from the POV of the page?

    The web address is

  • Try removing the scope from the shortcode

    [events_list limit=10 pagination=1 ][/events_list]

then go to events > settings > pages > events list/archives > Default event list ordering: set to “order by start date” – all ascending > events list scope: Future events.
