   I'd like my home page to list the five most recent stories from several different categories...

   I'm stumped. I saw some plugin for showing one category's posts--but I couldn't get it to work.

   There's gotta be a straightforward way to do this.

   I've been working on this too... It's very do-able, I just don't know the best approach. Do I need to run multiple loops, one loop for each category?
