I have a wordpress blog and I only want to display post titles on my category pages instead of the entire post. I have tried reading the codex guide but to no avail. http://codex.wordpress.org/Category_Templates it says to find <?php the_content(); ?> but not surprisingly no such line exists in any of the template files bfft

I suppose you can use an excerpt plugin and set the length of the posts to 0 or use the_title instead of the_content which really should be in your index.php, archive.php, etc. otherwise no content will be displayed (perhaps you use the_excerpt, but I doubt that).

    It's probably archive.php if not category.php etc.

@iamned: The line you should be looking for is the_content not get_content.
