    Hi,

    I'm using your plugin, is very nice to list our lecture in my campus.

    I have some question for your plugin.

    How to show list of all of staff, but only show photo and name (example: http://brettshumaker.com/testsite/) but, when we click the name or photo, we move to single page with that staff. so the staff can posting in single page.

    maybe, if we can post staf by group,
    [simple-staff-list group="Robots"]

    can you make we can post staf by name or by id ..?
    example: [simple-staff-list id=245]

    in my case, we have many lecture with very long resume (biography), the biography must fill it academic history, published article, and other academic list. And that look very long to under.
    so, if we can put one by one staff (lecture) on single page, it will be helpful.

    thanks

    I'm in pretty much the same situation. I have a customer with dozens of employees, each with a fairly large personal blurb. If I could display headshots and names, then click on the pic to view the blurb, that would be ideal. This plugin is an excellent piece of work, and I'll try to figure a solution for what I need, but if anyone else cares to chime in, that would be great.

    Hey all,
    One way to link to a single staff member page is to use the [staff-name-slug] in your Staff Loop Template and use a WordPress page template titled single-staff-member.php. (reference link: http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages#Page_Templates)

    I will most likely be adding the [simple-staff-list id=123] in a future version of the plugin.

    @stevex64 see my post here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/lightbox-20?replies=12#post-3932556

    You can use a similar javascript technique to accomplish what you're trying to do.

    Sorry for my delay in answering...I've been away on vacation.

    Hi Brett, thank for your help.

    now, i can put link to linked staff to single page with this code to loop:

    <a href="http://yourdomain.com/staff-members/[staff-name-slug]">Detail</a>

    thanks.

    but, i still can't find, where is single-staff-member.php ..?
    i has looked at plugin folder, but only file simple-staff-list.php

    Are I have to make it that file from scratch..? If yes, where I put that file..?
    please your mention

    Hey ekatronik,
    The 'single-staff-member.php' file is one that you'll have to create and add to your theme folder. It would just be a general WordPress page template. From there, you can access the Staff Member's data by something similar to the code below (to be put inside the "loop" in your 'single-staff-member.php' page template):

    <?php
    $custom = get_post_custom();
    $staff_name = get_the_title();
    $staff_phone = $custom["_staff_member_phone"][0];

    echo ( 'Call ' . $staff_name . ' at ' . $staff_phone . ' to schedule an appointment!' );
    ?>

    Take a look around /inc/user-view-show-staff-list.php to see how I'm accessing the Custom Post Type data.

    Sorry Brett

    I'am really no have idea for that, I'm very newbie in PHP.

    It very nice if you want to write all code to put in 'single-staff-member.php' file.

    I don't like fancy box, i just want detail page of a staff...
    i have to try take a look around user-view-show-staff-list.php, there you just put initialed a shortcode. CMIIW.

    Sorry, ekatronik, I don't have the time to write the code for you.
