List of searchable and downloadable files

    Hey,

    I have over 1000 Music and Doc files that I need for people to be able to search and then download the ones they want. The issue I am having is it has to be password protected and I am not sure of the best way to create a ‘list’ of this many files. I do not want to do <a href=""></> for ever file as that would take hours and is not password protected.

    What I have figured out is that I can password protect specific posts/pages using a plugin so that is covered. I also believe that I am in need of a database and then reference that DB inside the post/page.

    All this is new to me and I have no idea as to what the best option is or if there is some hidden plugin out there that I was not able to find.
