List of pages in admin section not showing after update to 3.8

    At first the update didn’t work because of the error:

    Update failed: Could not copy file:.index.php

    I installed wordpress 3.8 manually and that seemed fine. I updated my plugins, but now when I click “pages” I don’t get the list of pages in the admin section. I can see that 7 pages are published, but none show up.

    If in the config file I change WP_DEBUG to true I get the following error on the pages page:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_post_format() in /wp-admin/includes/class-wp-posts-list-table.php on line 561

    When I comment out this line I get to see the pages, but I can’t get the list of posts as well. On the pages list I can’t access screen options as well. It seems like everything is messed up. The strange thing is that my site is still fine, but not being able to see posts or pages is a problem.

    i am having the same issue.. pages shows up in the menu but i have to click on it like four times to get the actual pages to show up on the right hand side. this issue looks like its a month old, whats the fix?
