Please post the whole shortcode string you’re using.

[pdb_list filter=names=’Ziegler, Ladd & Sharon’] where i copied and pasted the value from the record

    also [pdb_list filter=’approved=no’ ]

also on the Admin search I don’t get filter when I search for ‘no’ which is default in my records

    Thanks

OK, your first shortcode is incorrect, it won’t work. the second is OK.

    Try something like:

    [pdb_list filter="names='Ziegler, Ladd & Sharon"]

You second question I don’t have enough information. It depends how your field is set up…try searching for “is not yes”

    well

the [pdb_list filter="names='Ziegler, Ladd & Sharon"] still didn’t work after trying a few options with and without blanks etc

my “yes’ problem is solved and I have got other shortcode searches to work….

Have other dilemma. I want my db to have default approved ‘no’ but would like to start with current file all at ‘yes’

Is only option to fix spreadsheet and reload?

    Thanks

On your first point, the data stored in the record must match exactly the term in the filter. You may do better with the “~” operator.

Yes, you’ll need to edit the database, either upload a CSV or directly using a database query, that is the best way if you know how to use them.

    Thankyou for the prompt response.

    It has been most helpful.
