I assumed that’s what the shortcode might be. Unfortunately, it only returns “No Events”. Am I missing something? Will it not work with recurring events that are tagged?

Hi, I think you have tried the shortcode with a tag, what is only by the past events. In this case you can use shortcode with this supplement scope=”past”.

actually, I re-tested this and I get this too; I’ve let Marcus know about it. should get fixed soon.

Yeah, I still can’t get this to work by tag at all. Seems to be a legit bug?

yes, it might be however we’re still trying to give it more testing.

anyone have any ideas on what might fix this potential bug? is there an update coming?

I’d love to see if there’s a way to make this work by tag. has anyone been able to figure out a work around for this?

tag searches should be working now in the latest update. the bug was actually when searching multiple tags e.g. “music, entertainment”

did you try adding scope=”all” ?

    Thread Starter topbillin

    (@topbillin)

OK, this is really confusing and it seems the bug is still there.

when i add scope=”all” i see ONLY the past events. no future events then i had setup.

also, when i go to the tag page and click on “view” next to a tag that’s being used… i also see no events.

So i did a few more tests adding random events. As far as i can tell, this bug is specific to upcoming events that are recurring. if an event is recurring, it will never show up in when listing by tag.

    hi,

I tried this one and seems to be working; btw, am using EM latest stable version. also, could it be that you are using any caching plugins?

    Thread Starter topbillin

    (@topbillin)

I’m not using any caching plugins. I’ve tried this a few times now with different tags/events/etc and it persists. list by tag does not show future recurring events. i’m at a loss.

Does anyone have any suggestions or possible fixes? Love the plugin, but this might be a deal breaker.

have you tried editing a single recurrence, and verifying that it actually has the correct tags assigned?

Also, are you using MultiSite? If so, what are your MS settings?
