emcee2I have set up some categories for dinner menus. Menu-01, Menu-02, etc. etc. I've gone back in and edited various posts and applied them to one or more menu categories.
I want to use the List Category Posts plugin to display the items in that menu and that works fine... all the posts are displayed as expected (except the thumbnails, addressed in another post).
That said, I haven't found the available options for ordering the displayed list of posts provide me a means of defining a particular order to the list, but maybe I don't quite understand the options available.
Is there some means of actually defining - perhaps through another category or some other means I cannot think of - the display order of the posts that appear in a category? I.E., I want a particular post to appear first, then another post second, etc. etc.
I.E., I could create some a category called Numbers, with subcategories 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... etc. I probably don't have to go past 10 - I don't think the blog owner will be creating dinner menus with more than 5 or 6 courses. Then I could assign a particular post to that number category, and then sort on that category... but I don't know if the plugin will display one category and sort on the status of another.
Thoughts?
