    You can upload your custom logo in the theme options.

    In the admin section visit: Appearance =} Theme Options =} Design (tab) =} Logo =} Upload =} (select or upload image) =} Save options.
    Or visit this url: http://site.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=options-framework (but change “site.com” to address of your site).

    Then visit your site and you should see your image on the place of lion head in screenshot.

    That was too easy… I looked right past it, but did not see. BTW, I don’t remember ever seeing the lions head on my initial install. (And it isn’t in my media file.)

    Thank you for your prompt reply.

    I did not included lion image with the theme. It was just used for the screenshot as an example.

    The lion image is free (public domain) and you may download it from pixabay.com site.

    You may browse pixabay.com site and maybe you will find some more interesting images.

    @webvitaly: It might be worth bundling that image within the theme in future and mentioning the image’s license in your readme.txt file. For WPORG hosted themes, the theme’s screenshot.png should match what the user will see when s/he first activates the theme.

    @esmi:
    Licence of the image is mentioned in the readme.txt file. There are also the link to the each file used in the theme.

    I did not wanted to bundle lion head image with the theme because each site will have own logo and image can be easily uploaded.

    But the images for headers are bundled with the theme and users can choose header image from bundled.

    In that case, it would be better to use a screenshot that shows the theme when first activated. See http://make.wordpress.org/themes/2013/01/17/clarification-of-screenshot-guidelines/

    I didn’t mean to cause any disturbance…

    @esmi: I’ll think about it in the next releases.

    @turbowarp: no worries, everything is ok 😉

    @turbowarp: sorry if I slight derailed your topic but, ideally, we would prefer it if people didn’t have to ask these kinds of questions about WPORG themes. In theory, the theme’s screenshot should be a “reasonable facsimile” of the theme’s display when first activated. One way of achieving this would be to make the lion image the default placeholder logo for the theme (if that’s possible).

    Longer term, it is these kinds of discussions that help both WPORG and theme developers create the best possible experience for users. So it’s all good. 🙂
