My hosting provider recently moved from a linux server to a windows one. Now I'm able to access the home page, and the admin page, but clicking on the posts and other pages results in 404 errors. I suspect it has something to do with the htaccess no longer being used by the server or something.
Is there a solution, or something I'm missing?
Not really: there is no "nice" permalinks on Win servers. Maybe get a decent host that doesn't make such a dumb move?
There is some workaround for Win > read Using_Permalinks

It seems to work with new installs on the server though, just not previously installed instances.
