Links to Google Maps Not Working (4 posts)

I just imported all my blogs from wordpress.com to my own shared-hosting account. After numerous problems, I've finally got all my content on the new server and resolved all problems except one.

My old site (http://hikingsaltlake.wordpress.com) has a link to a Google map at the bottom of almost every blog. However, when I imported the content over to my new site (http://www.hikingsaltlake.com), it shows the link text rather than the link.

So I resigned myself to the fact that I'll need to go and edit each one of these by hand; however, even if I copy the link and paste it into the HTML tab, it still shows the link text on my site.

Does anyone know why these links didn't import correctly, or what I need to do to make them work right?

    Thanks.

If the text links are using the [googlemaps] shortcode, try using my plugin. It's meant to solve this problem.

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, the plugin didn't work. I installed it and it no longer shows the map link markup. Instead, it just shows a blank area with the View Larger Map link at the bottom.

However, looking at this, I now see what is happening. The [googlemap] tag is a code that is supported on wordpress.com but not in the wordpress software on my site.

Looks like I'll just need to go and edit each link by hand.

That's right, but the plugin is supposed to add support for the [googlemap] tag.

Could you give me a link to a post which you haven't edited by hand yet? The one with the blank area. I would like to find out what's wrong and try to fix it.
