[resolved] Links to created pages don't work (3 posts)

    Hi,

I am a very new user to WordPress and to web design in general. I have to admit that my knowledge of associated jargon is extremely limited.

    I have two problems:

-I've created an about page, it appears on the navbar in my template, but when you click on it, you get a "this page cannot be found message." I asked a friend, who hasn't used WordPress and he says it sounds like I need to create a base path for my links. I have tried to work out how to do this myself but nothing I've tried works.

-You can't currently post comments on the blog. I don't know why this is either. It just gives another "this page cannot be found" message.

I don't think it's an issue with the template, as I installed the same template on a test site a friend provided and everything seemed to work. I installed the template on my own domain and it's not worked from the word go.

I'm aware that these problems may well have been covered in another topic, and I'm not yet savvy enough to be able to identify them. If this is the case, then I'm very sorry for taking up more room with this query.

    Please help!

    X

Wrong. All you have to do is work on your Permalinks (settings)
