links on images won't work

    Hello all!! I just started a simple wordpress site for a friend a few days ago and am having the most bizarre issue. When I am linking text to an outside site it works fine. After doing the same to an image, when I test it I get a spinning wheel on the page and it never takes me to the link.

    Those images should take me to the corresponding light boxes on iStock photo.

    any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!!
