Links Not Working on homepage within body content

    Hey there…

    I’m working on updating http://www.unitychristchurch.org which was built by somebody else and noticed that on the homepage in the section that starts “See What’s Coming Up…” all of the links except the title are being stripped out (ie all links within the content are converted to plain text). When I click into the individual post, the links are working properly.

    Once I click into the post and go to the url of the specific post, the links within the content work properly.

    Any ideas on what is causing this and how to correct the problem? I would be greatly appreciated any insight all of you have (and my apologies if this is a very easy question as I’m raw regarding WordPress).

    Your home page is displaying excerpts and not the full posts. When the excerpt is used, the links are stripped out.

    What you could do is display the content for each post and then manually insert a read more tag, but that would be a lot of work and you would need to change your theme files.
