Links not working correctly... (3 posts)

The hyperlinks on my blogs have begun to include the actual URL of the post page PLUS whatever the outside URL is that I'm linking to. Any ideas why it does this? All I want to do is create a simple outside link and now the URL is all jacked up, not sure why. Haven't hardly changed anything... All of the other links that I've posted before are working just fine. Is this an issue anyone else is having? (I am using most recent version)

For example, I am trying to link to http://www.mirrorathlete.com on this page: http://www.lifeafterwealth.net/education/college-conspiracy-and-the-wealth-knowledge/

    The hyperlink shows as http://www.lifeafterwealth.net/education/college-conspiracy-and-the-wealth-knowledge/www.mirrorathlete.com

which results in a broken link. Not sure what's up!

be sure in your link to use "http://"

This should work. I had the same issue until I used the visual mode in the post editor and used the link tool provided. I noticed wordpress added the http to my link and everything worked.

I saw this happening when i was using a link cloaking plugin. You can change the settings on the plugin to exclude the domain you are trying to link to, or just disable the plugin.
