   Hi everyone,
   I am completely new to Wordspress and tried to change my host last night. It failed dismally... Luckily i backed up my database and have since reinstalled. The problem is now my comments,categories and more tag's dont work. I get the problem

   "Not Found
   The requested URL /2007/07/15/world-in-conlflict-beta-keys/ was not found on this server.

   Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
   Apache/1.3.33 Server at muslimgamer.com Port 80"

   As im new to wordpress i am not sure how to fix it, hoping someone might be able to help, thanks in advance.

   Reset your permalinks to the default.

   thanks for your reply moshu. I went to do it and now im getting a 500 internal server error.... Why is this happening to me!!! :)I am assuming its not my fault but the hosting providers? I have emailed godaddy see what happens..

   Problem solved, Thanks Moshu!! :)
   while reading through some of the other posts there was a suggestion to add a .htaccess file. I followed that and thats what was causing the 500 error.

   After changing the permalinks to default and then back again all is working! :)

   Where did you put the .htaccess file???
   what is the contents of the .htaccess file?
