    Hello,

    Can I get some clarification from the wordpress.org site crew on a plugin policy?

    The policy for wordpress.org hosting of plugins requires that the plugins ask for a site owner’s approval of any links back to the plugin developers site, i.e. “Powered by http://www.somesite.com”.

    Does this policy include even the text? i.e. would the “Powered by http://www.somesite.com” be acceptable if it is only the text but no an actual link to the site?
